In 2010, I was hired to photograph my first house by an architect, and it was during this shoot that I began to realize that architectural photography is about more than just capturing the design of a building. It’s about creating images that are not only an accurate representation of the structure but also aesthetically pleasing to the viewer. Architectural photographers must possess a range of skills and techniques to highlight the beauty of buildings— from using perspective control to knowing the best time of day and the most effective angles to shoot from, all in pursuit of the perfect shot. When I'm hired to photograph a building, a great deal of planning goes into the process before I even head to the site. This planning stage is crucial, and it’s during this phase that collaborating with my clients becomes essential to creating the most compelling and visually striking images.
I have worked with a wide variety of clientele when shooting architecture. While an Architect was my first client, I have also worked with Commercial & Residential Property Owners, Contractors large and small, Restaurant Owners, Home Owners, Commercial and Residential Realtors, Technology, Infrastructure, Lighting and Energy Companies, Non-Profit Organizations, Landscape Designers, and possibly more. Please contact me if you have a building or structure you need photographed.
